Tropical Storm Gustav is approaching Louisiana quickly and is currently bombarding Jamaica. Those in the storm’s path should listen to local news for updates and take shelter. Gustav will most likely become a hurricane in the next 36 hours.

Seems Oregon and Washington weren’t the only places dealing with gusty winds yesterday. Outside my home in NYC, we had 45-55 MPH winds blowing all day and night, making for extremely cold temperatures. CBS 2 is now reporting that 50 MPH winds blew scaffolding into the Times Tower, which ended up shattering a window and injuring one person.
