I predict that tomorrow’s storm will catch many of us off-guard. New York and Philadelphia are both expected to receive anywhere from two to five inches of precipitation tomorrow. This can transportation systems to a halt and those of you who rely on the MTA or SEPTA should consider finding alternate transportation means. Schools in suburban areas will most likely experience delays or closings. Stay up to date with your local news channel and SimpleWeather for more updates tonight and tomorrow.

Icy storms have caused over eleven people to live their lives in traffic accidents across this country this past weekend. A powerful ice storm moved across the Great Lakes and Southern Plains coating everything with a dense coating of ice. Over 130,000 people have lost power throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois and Kansas.

Those living in Pennsylvania, Ohio and other states in the vicinity are advised to drive carefully today and tomorrow due to worsening conditions with ice. More information can be found by clicking here.
